Colorado Springs Xeriscaping Reduces My Water Bill

A lot of people spend a lot of time on their landscaping. They want to have the most beautifully green lawns and the perfectly landscaped shrubs and bushes. I think that is fine, for them, but it is not what I am interested in. I want Colorado Springs xeriscaping to be the focus of my lawn and garden. The difference between landscaping and xeriscaping is that the latter is focused on reducing the need for supplemental irrigation water. It is perfect for replacing lawns with Kentucky bluegrass, which does not grow in the sandy, arid soil that we have in Colorado. The companies that focus on xeriscaping in Colorado Springs that I have worked with do an amazing job incorporating mulch, rock and stone, artificial turf and vegetation that is considered to low-water usage. What I really like about working with these companies is that they are capable of so many different designs. They can install patios, fire pits, walkways and paths, retaining walls and they even do aquascape. When I chose to do my own yard I decided to have a small area with artificial turf and then a larger area with desert friendly plants and stone. The finished project is amazing.
