This year for Christmas my husband is getting me new kitchen appliances in Seattle. I am so excited to have a new refrigerator. Our current one came with the house when we bought it, and I am surprised that it is still working. Since this is my Christmas gift and since I am the one who does most of the work in the kitchen my husband asked me to find out exactly what I want. I went to the store and fell in love with a beautiful French door refrigerator. Then I went home and realized that it wouldn't fit in my space. I realized that I went about purchasing kitchen appliances in Seattle the wrong way.
The first step I needed to do was to measure the space I have for a refrigerator. I needed to know the height, width and depth available. Not all refrigerators are the same size. I also had to take into account which way I would need to door to open. The way my kitchen is set up means that I need to have the door handle on the left side of the refrigerator. Now that I have realized my spacial limitations I need to compare traditional refrigerators with bottom drawer freezer refrigerators to see which one I like best.
